AFOURER
Production NADORCOTT (Afourer).
At the VERTGER Bio, 32 hectares of Afourer are planted at a distance of 6m * 2m, or 833 trees per hectare, and irrigated by drip irrigation.
We have significant evapotranspiration depending on the month. That’s why we developed the BRF (Real Fragmented Wood) process, which is made from recovered wood from pruning and is applied as a mulch. Mixed with manure and straw, it helps to nourish the soil and produce humus, which provides all the nutrients for the fruits and gives them the excellent taste of the terroir. This natural mulch slows down evapotranspiration and limits irrigation, saving 30% water.
The climate in Morocco allows us to produce the best citrus fruits in the world.
